Liked the exclusive atmosphere and new-fashioned superior room with a balcony.

The breakfast was bountiful and enjoyable for what was on offer, with fresh coffee and yoghurts, for instance. The service was very efficient, that made the hotel peaceful place.

The property was perfect with accommodating staff that really needs to be trained on customer service, I appreciated the stay. It was fashionable, updated and for access to wellington club. The location offered was great and brilliant right by the centre of Madrid and great restaurants and shops.

Views appeared to be awful.

The property is fairly clean and luxurious. Make sure you stay in the double room on upper floors. It has knowledgeable staff that really needs to be trained on customer service and nice facilities.

I booked new-fashioned and fashionable room, that was offered with included access, the bathroom, as example. The location was good - within a walking distance of everywhere I wanted to go. Salamanca district was worth staying in.

The room was a little small, and Wi-Fi was horrible, made me a little nervous.

I asked for family room and it was immaculate for access to wellington club. The location was great, to all museums and the interior design was nice. It was also really close to many fine restaurants, the best shopping district and Madrid.

Luxurious old-fashioned place, it has excellent location just off art museums and collections in Madrid and Toledo, and 4 stops on the metro from The Plaza Mayor in the heart of the old town. Really helpful and top-class staff here that really needs to be trained on customer service.

Had a very enjoyable stay for 6 nights. I asked for a junior suite and the one given was good sized and updated. Everything was very good and the staff were very professional. The breakfast was extensive and bountiful, especially breads and meats.

Glad I took superior room, it was new-fashioned and spotless. The breakfasts are extensive with the spanish cuisine and champagne, for example.

The hotel was in the very central setting in the prestigious neighbourhood of Salamanca in a quite street. The breakfast spread was bountiful and enjoyable, with lots of excellent options. The service was very efficient and the pool was amazing.

By and large, it was well-run and well-kept place with top-class staff that really needs to be trained on customer service. The location of the hotel was the best and peaceful - at a moderate distance from a vast 19th-century park. The area was very nice close to El Retiro park, transport and restaurant.

Exceptionally comfortable bed in king room with an electronic key card, pay TV and a writing desk. Stunning location in the heart of the old town. And next to the beautiful Retiro Park and Madrid.

The location is peaceful and the food is brilliant. It's immaculate with comfortable beds and absolutely stunning views. The outdoor restaurant is nice and having fresh bread and meats for breakfast is a bonus.

they gave me double room with a fantastic view as well as tea. brilliant position was an added bonus. besides, the area was very nice, next to puerta de alcala.

The family queen room for access to wellington club, facilities worked for us. Incredible location to a vast pedestrianized public square. Set next to Spain, and Salamanca in the lovely area.

The place was fairly clean and staff were efficient, I liked incredible and best possible location. I took a superior room with a fantastic view of Madrid's, a balcony, as example. Location: the hotel was short walk to museums, Madrid and Salamanca. There was a poolside restaurant nearby. Poolside bar was executive.

I had lovely days staying at this classy hotel. Attentive and polite staff gave advice on things to do. By the way, they charged me gbp 34 per day for parking. The location was unbeatable, close to the beautiful Retiro Park, Madrid, and all the nice upmarket shops. I ate in the poolside restaurant nearby.

we loved our stay here. room was great value. moreover, we parked on site. it was so close to el estanque grande. breakfast costs 28 eur per person per day, worth paying for.

We thoroughly enjoyed facilities and drinks, the hotel had everything we required for our trip.

The hotel offered 10-minutes direct walk to retiro park. Club was perfect for a breakfast. We would stay again and again next year
