Hostal Don Alfonso

Location: the hotel was short walk to city center, Puerta del Sol, plaza Mayor and Royal palace and tourist attractions. Had brunch in the Sankara Lounge Bar, located nearby.

The location of the hotel was central, so close to tapas bars, shops and main attractions and royal palace, prado, retiro park. The personnel was helpful and friendly.

The rooms are clean with balcony. The hotel has a central location in the city center.

It is a quiet little and great property located in Centro district just next door to the Center, Royal palace and 2 restaurants. The location is marvellous and unbeatable, as the hotel is based simply close to everything.

We didn't want to leave and would stay here again and again. It was an ideal and great place to stay with good value. The restaurant was not too far from the hotel.

Great location just a short stroll away from a vast pedestrianized public square. Bright & new-fashioned unit with balcony as well as bathroom.

Truly enjoyed the triple room with balcony and the way it was setup.

Think it's best Madrid's place to stay. Overall, it's excellent base for exploring Madrid attractions. Guests have all their needs satisfied by the very amiable and particularly helpful staff;)))

Neat and beautifully designed units with balcony, and the staff were particularly helpful. The location of the hotel was magnificent and amazing - not too far from a famed street.

Well-appointed and beautifully designed room with very comfy bed and a safe, central heating and a work desk. A wide array of goodies for breakfast. Location close enough to the Center, cafes, shops & subway and many attractions in central Madrid.

fairly clean property, welcoming staff. exceptionally comfortable bed in the triple room, plus an electric kettle, air conditioning and an individual safe. the location in the middle of the city. nearby casa labra - great place to chill out.
